MakkhiChoose lets those browsing many Indian retailers online to see when the product that they are viewing is available on another site at a lower rate. While the extension doesn’t work with all online stores, it is fully functional with fifteen of the most popular online retail outlets in India, including ebay.in, snapdeal.com, shopping.indiatimes.com, and amazon.in. When you view a product at any of those stores, the extension checks the other sites to see whether it is available from another site at a better price.
When you are viewing an item on one of the sites that MakkhiChoose supports, you will see a rupee on a blue icon on the left side of your screen. The rupee appears dark most of the time. When a product that you are viewing is available at a lower price on another one of the sites, the rupee changes to green. You will also see a notification message that includes the other price. The add-on is supported through the use of affiliate links, so the price of it is effectively paid by retailers rather than by end users.
